My art often looks to explore the unknown and undefined forms we pass over, forcing one’s inner imagination to takeover. Glass as a medium keeps me on my toes, continually pushing and evolving my art toward more involved processes and techniques to represent my ideas. My visual directions are often influenced by industrial and architectural components, the moments where contrasting materials meet, and the aesthetics of mundane objects common to our everyday life. My travels around the world and my curiosity for the aspects of life we have yet to understand, continually drive my art to represent concepts that pull the psyche away from reality.
I enjoy creating a dialogue between multiple mediums, shaping my designs in a multitude of directions and scales, not solely limited by any one particular medium or process. Working with glass, metals, woods, 3d printing, cast cement, and found objects allows me to use multiple layers and materials to tell a story. Creating sculptures which guide the viewer on a path of inner curiosity and introspection as they seek to define the object. For my art, a title is only meant to lead, not define.
